RETURN OF VINCENT VAN GOGH

A serious but very dear work, inspired by Van Gogh and his brushstrokes. It has been a long process to create this work. It started in one plein air and failed, continued to another plein air to be finished, corrected and tidied up there. As always, after the very first brushstrokes, I gained courage and inner freedom, and allowed myself to experiment. And so, this work came to hand and was repainted, and it came alive with Van Gogh's colours, brushstrokes, flickers. Hence the title of the work. There is no Van Gogh here, but there is his spirit.
